Eastern Regional Dance Practice
March 13, 2010 - Watkinsville, GA
Hosted by the Barony of Bryn Madoc

Regional dance practices are a great opportunity for beginning dancers to learn the basics, and for dance teachers to practice their skills. The classes will be focused on the basic repertoire, though more advanced dances will be taught as time and interest allow. Musicians are always welcome; this is a good opportunity to practice playing for dancers.

The practice will be held at the Watkinsville Community Center (191 VFW Drive, Watkinsville, GA).

The building will be open at 8:00 am. Classes will begin at 9:00, and run until 1:00. The current plan is to take up a collection and order pizza for lunch, to make it easier to get classes going again. Classes will resume after lunch and run until 6:00. We will then have a mini-ball to make use of all the dances that have been taught. Drinks will be provided (water and lemonade); if you can bring light finger food type snacks for the ball it would be greatly appreciated. We will then adjourn for dinner. The bulding will be available until midnight, so there will be time for more dancing after dinner for those who are so inclined.
